Project Due Date Changed

Hi guys...hopefully you all get a chance to read this before tomorrow's class. I have had numerous students ask for clarification on how to present their projects. Also, many are unsure of how to interprit their results. I will push the presentation deadline to Thursday November 1 (I realize this is a day after Halloween) Tomorrow we will spend a bit of time of how I want the project to look and then we will move on to the next chapter which will look at crime figures and how to interprit them.

Welcome

Your last year at Westview is about to commence and I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you all.

Education can be likened to a great big canvas and this year I would like my students to throw as much paint as they can on the canvas of their education. I appeal to the students, to value and uphold the importance of intrinsic motivation.

This year I have no doubt that you will throw yourselves into your education, you will make the most of the canvas of opportunity that you are offered and you will paint the goals that you aspire to. I have no doubt that if you remain motivated in the classroom, then you will achieve your goals.
